Dr. Pun-Arj Chairatana, Executive Director of National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) (NIA), revealed that NIA initiated the Innovation Thailand campaign to create awareness and raise the pride of Thai people in Thai innovations. The campaign also aims to create a new image of Thailand as the country outstanding for innovation. Many may not realize that Thai people can invent various innovations. Particularly, Innovations for Crafted Living helps them live a happier, more comfortable, and more refined life. This identity of Thai innovation is what NIA tries to present to open a new and different perspective toward Thailand.

NIA classifies the Innovation for Crafted Living into seven categories. Healthy Living innovation focuses on not only healthcare but also sickness prevention. Easy Living innovation makes the lives of the elderly, the disabled, and the disadvantaged easier and seamlessly equal to other people. Smart Living innovation focuses on the world and the environment, ranging from sources of clean energy, waste disposal, pollution reduction, and the Bio-Circular-Green Economy. Connected Living innovation connects those sharing the same interest and uses digital technology to create a network to reduce the gap in thought. Safe Living is the innovation for safe life and property, covering all indoor and outdoor life dimensions. Wealthy Living innovation creates new job opportunities to ensure self-supporting citizens and improve their quality of life. Happy Living is the innovation in tourism, music, and recreation, leading to relaxed and joyful living.

“Every Thai citizen is responsible for creating the new image of Thailand as an “Innovative Country”. NIA's innovation Thailand campaign invited seven Thai representatives to build awareness of seven innovation aspects through video clips. Kanpassorn 'Eix' Suriyasangpetch, the creator of the OOCA application, represents Heathy Living while Chatchai Aphibanpoonpon, the developer of PANNANA application for the visually impaired, represents Easy Living. Kanatip Soonthornrak, also known as 'Kru Loukgolf’, co-founder of Little Big Green project, represents Smart Living. Chanond Ruangkritya, Chief Executive Officer and President of Ananda Development Public Company Limited, represents Connected Living. 5Lab, the developer of Covid Tracker application that displays the COVID-19 infected areas, represents Safe Living. Rawit Hanutsaha, the founder of the MISSSION TO THE MOON page and podcast, represents Wealthy Living. Yuthana Boonorm, also known as 'Pa Ted', a pioneer of the Thai music festival, represents Happy Living. This is the synergy of representatives in a new generation to bring a new perspective and enhance Thailand’s image that Thai people can feel proud of,” said Dr. Pan-Arj.
