Pickled Samed mushroom production process

Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, has come up with a way to make Samet mushroom spawn. The mushroom from Samet trees emerges only once a year and commands relative highly price at 100-300 baht per kilogramme. The university has studied the production of Samet mushroom spawn to expand mushroom cultivation in natural conditions, looking at an appropriate nutrient formula, materials for making leavening and farming the fungus to cover most of the Samet plants in the Trang campus area.
