The Calcitonin is a nasal spray developed and manufactured in Thailand whose quality is comparable to original medicines from abroad but at a cheaper price. Its packaging is of metered dose which is used to treat osteoporosis and helps to reducing pain from fractures. A Bioequivalent study of Mycalcitonin conducted on healthy Thai volunteers shows kinetics which is no difference with Miacalcic which is the original drug.
