AI model for rainfall forecasts to manage water efficiently

Agriculture forms the backbone of the Thai economy and is relying on an efficient irrigation system. But most of the farm areas are still outside of the irrigation system and thus a precise rainfall forecast is crucial for the cultivation plan. The design of artificial intelligence (AI) to create a rain forecasting model has made it possible to predict the amount of rainfall in each area in a yearly basis. Such model shows the amount of rainfall compared to the average and the information that derives can be used for managing water supply in the area, allowing farmers to confidently plan their cultivation.
