Customised for people with chronic kidney disease, this rice is made from Pathumthani fragrant rice with 5-8% proteins through the process of protein digestion with enzymes and drying. That results in protein content being lessened to 1.19 grammes per 100 grammes. The rice is then packed in retort cup, sterilised and is ready to serve to kidney disease patients who get lower protein content from the rice. That allows them to consume more meat protein as they need essential amino acids from good quality meat, not from plants.
